For a production of The Lieutenant of Inishmore I was asked to make a device to shoot artificial blood at Mairead near the end of the play when she shoots Padraic.
For all the blood effects I decided to use compressed air and it was whilst looking online I found the pump up drain cleaners that looked a cheap and viable product to supply

Drill two holes for the cable ties |

Fix the bracket to the top of the handle with a couple of wood screws |
|
|
Fix the two armoured cable clips to the conduit barrel (leave a little extra at the back for the push fit adaptor) |
|
|
Use the cable-ties to attach the barrel to the bracket |
|
|
